Dal was extremely helpfull in his recommendations for things to do and very welcoming. He was also very quick with responses and really puts on effort to ensure that we are comfortable at all times. We so enjoyed our stay at Dal's place. Just a few minutes away from Ganges but secluded and peaceful. We loved seeing the ocean through the trees and enjoying the sunset outside. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets are really excellent quality- we slept so well!

Just spent a couple magical nights at Dal's place. The space itself is even nicer than the photos if that's even possible. It's so beautifully appointed with cheerful, yet calming colours and has lovely art and soft area rugs. The bed, the linen - all were so comfortable. And there are nice easy touches with the lighting that Dal will show you.

 

From the get go, communicating with Dal was easy and fast. He had lots of good ideas and was always very personable.

 

I loved the location on the west side of the island. Was very peaceful and quiet and yet so close to get into Ganges and elsewhere on the island.

 

Would highly recommend staying at Dal's. I've stayed at many airbnbs and his was top notch. Look forward to going back there again.

Dal welcomed us and gave us many local recommendations. The suite is beautifully decorated. We appreciated Dal's responsiveness when we could hear voices late at night beside us. The suite is south facing so we appreciated the fan for when it was hot. It is a lovely space for a short stay.

We had a great stay at Dal's place. He was friendly and responsive. Dal provided lots of recommendations for restaurants and things to do on the island. The suite itself was very clean and comfortable. We especially liked the outdoor seating area and the view of the trees and ocean. Seeing the deer visit regularly was also a highlight. Lastly, we loved that the suite was so close to a beach and a hike.

This is a very quiet, private and peaceful oasis that isn't too far away from Ganges and other must-see Saltspring Island attractions. The suite is squeaky clean and has everything you'll need. It has a distant ocean view through the trees and friendly deer grazing close by. Dal is a friendly host, giving us detailed information about the suite upon check-in and proactively providing restaurant and hiking recommendations. We followed his advice and booked a great dinner at Off the Hook restaurant, and took the "easy on the knees" version of the Mt. Erskine hike and really enjoyed it. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and we had a great weekend on the Island.

We had such a lovely stay at Dal's place! The king sized bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. The shower had great water pressure, which is always a plus, and the whole suite was clean, cozy, and welcoming.

 

The outdoor seating area was a definite highlight. We spent time enjoying the sunshine while watching deer graze nearby, with a charming peek-a-boo view of the ocean in the distance — so peaceful and serene.

 

Location-wise, it couldn't be better. It's just a short walk to the Saturday market and local shops, yet far enough away that it still feels quiet and private. We felt extremely safe the entire time, which made it all the more relaxing.

 

Dal was also a good host, offering helpful local recommendations that we really appreciated. Would absolutely stay again!
