Here, you’ll find important information regarding your stay, including our booking policies, cancellation terms, and guidelines to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. Check-In and Check-Out

 

Check-in from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Check-out by 11:00 am

 

Early arrival or late departure may be possible with advance notice.

Minimum Stay

A two-night minimum stay applies year-round. Preferred rates at % off for 4-night, 7-night, and 28-night stays. Please contact us directly for extended visit inquiries.

 

Fees

A one-time cleaning fee applies per stay:

Cloud 9 Suite – $50

Sunset Suite – $50

Sunrise Suite – $75

 

Payments & Cancellation

 

A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to arrival and becomes non-refundable at that time. Cancellations within two weeks of arrival are non-refundable. We recommend travel insurance to protect against unforeseen changes.

 

Suites & Occupancy

 

Each suite accommodates a maximum of two adults and is intended for quiet enjoyment.

 

House Standards

 

Collins House is a non-smoking property.

Pets are not permitted.

Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.

We ask that shoes be removed indoors and that furnishings and linens be treated with care.

 

Island Living

 

Salt Spring Island operates at a slower pace, with seasonal availability and limited resources. Advance planning for ferry travel, dining reservations, and groceries is recommended.

 

Water is a valued resource on the island, and thoughtful use is appreciated. Recycling must be clean and rinsed, as waste must leave the island and wildlife can be attracted to food residue.

 

Practical Details

 

Complimentary on-site parking is available for registered guests.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and mobile coverage is generally reliable.

Island weather can change quickly, particularly near the water — layers and comfortable footwear are recommended.

 

Accessibility

 

Due to the nature of the property, Collins House may not be suitable for guests with significant mobility challenges. Please contact us prior to booking to discuss individual needs.

 

Liability & Conduct

 

Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay. Collins House is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings. We reserve the right to terminate a stay without refund if policies are disregarded or guest conduct affects the comfort or safety of others.

 

Lost Items

 

If personal items are left behind, we are pleased to assist with their return. Shipping costs apply.
